Chicken Marsala review by Cindy
It was a chilly February night but the atmosphere and the ambiance from inside Wimpys was warm and inviting. The food didn't disappoint either! You can't beat their 3 course meal for $25!! The Caesar salad and complimentary warm fresh bread was my starter, followed by a heaping plate of hot chicken Marsala that was fantastic (and too much to finish in one sitting). The final course was a scrumptious slice of cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. Our server was so personable and professional and truly made our experience at Wimpys worthy of a return visit!

First time visiting your restaurant with a friend. I had the best cod fish with a Prosecco which balanced well. My mother-in-law told me that she visited in the 60's and it was a great place. It's amazing 60 years later it is still excellent...food & service!!!

Been to Wimpy's numerous times and the turkey dinner is always a good go to meal! Plenty of nice thick cut white meat, stuffing, potato and squash. Takes you right to Thanksgiving dinner time. And at a great price...Thank You!
Baked Scallops Casino
I find this a most difficult review since I am limited to only one choice from the menu. The baked scallops are delicious, always fresh, & mouth watering. I have had many of the entrees since I am fortunate to live close by and enjoy many of the dinners that are available. Among my favorites are also shrimp scampi, pecan cod, & prime rib.
Fried Scallop Plate
This is one of the best meals around.I had my scallops with Wimpys awesome fries( the only ones I eat) and squash. The scallops are fresh and sweet. The batter is a good coating without being greasy at all. It's a perfect Cape Cod dinner !

I feel a need to tell everyone I see about how the prime rib at Whimpy's in Osterville... it's a standout delight. Each bite is tender and juicy, with a savoury, slow-cooked taste that's worth coming back for. On top of that, and what has me raving is the generous portion size at a fantastic value! Sure for 60 bucks you can find a decent prime rib that will leave you full, but at half that price, Whimpy's simply delivers something awesome which is tastier than the competition! If you're craving something hearty, this is the dish that delivers both quality and taste---an absolute must-try for prime rib lovers!

People are most likely to associate Wimpy with the character from the Popeye cartoons who was ever so fond of hamburgers. People are also most likely to associate Cape Cod dining with lobster & other seafood. So it arguably makes little sense that I opted for their chicken parmesan during a recent dinner visit. It also makes little sense just how good it was, but it's true. Served over linguine, the chicken cutlet was substantial, generously breaded with an intriguing seasoning, that pairs well with a flavorful, yet light, marinara sauce. I left quite satisfied.

No doubt, your Prime Rib is the BEST on the Cape!!! Medium Rare was exactly how it should be done, EXCELLENT!!!
